Week of Giving

John Box November 20, 2015

The Thanksgiving season is upon us.  In a few short days, families will gather around tables, surrounded by love and laughter, to enjoy all the delicious trimmings of a Thanksgiving feast.  But before we turn our attention to the goodness of our own Thanksgivings, let’s think of the common good too.

We’re honored to join Hazel Village’s Week of Giving from November 23-30.  The idea is simple: 10% of all proceeds this week will go to a local food bank.  To learn more about the Week of Giving and check out the other participating brands, visit Hazel Village’s Week of Giving homepage.

We’ve decided to donate 10% of our proceeds from Nov. 23-30 to Food Bank of the Rockies, committed to providing wholesome and delicious meals to local Colorado families.

We believe that small acts, done with great love, sustain a beautiful world.  We may be a small drop of water in a large ocean, but we’re inspired to be part of Hazel Village’s larger group of brands pledging 10% of their proceeds to food banks across the United States.

Imagine for a moment, what could happen if every company made a similar pledge this holiday season.  Last year, “Black Friday” shoppers spent approximately $50 billion over the four-day weekend starting with Thanksgiving.  What if every brand donated 10% of its proceeds, or a collective $5 billion dollars, to local food banks?  Imagine the countless lives that would be touched.

And so, we start here, with the Week of Giving.  Thank you for joining us.  Thank you for helping us to make our local communities better-fed this Thanksgiving season.

This is our place to thank you. You have invited us into your home. We are forever grateful.

This is our journey, together.

SEE WHAT WE'RE UP TO...

Thankful for all the children. They are our light shiners, our joy makers, our hope deliverers. Always showing us how to spread kindness, love deeply, and make beauty in this world together. May we learn from their innocence, and carry their wisdom w
A closer look at our new merino wool long johns - we’ll have 4 new ribbed solids coming your way August 22! Say hello to the newest color mulberry, and super soft as ever. Will make the transition from summer that much comfier 😊
Tip for the novice family of campers- always do a trial test/set up of your gear before you’re out in the wild. This way you’ll avoid puncturing a giant hole in your tent roof 🤦‍♀️ and your kids will only be crying because of mama&rs
I’ll admit I was a bit cranky when I woke up for our shoot (and as the photographer, crankiness is not the best state to be in!). Letting little things bother me and consume my thoughts. But little by little as this shoot started to come togeth
